HOW DO I...
This page is dedicated to help you access all the wonderful features you come to epxect from a public library including the libraries of the Butler County Federated Library System.
Manage Your Account
Click the button above that says, "My Account". A pop-up screen like the one shown here will ask you to log in with either your Library Card Number or EZ login. Don't worry, if you forget your password, you can ask for another which will be sent to your email.
Borrow, Renew, Return
Borrow, renew, and request items online or at your local library.
To access your account to renew items, please use the “My Account” link at the top of the site.
To request a “hold” on library material, use our Online Catalog, find the item you want to borrow, and click “Request Hold” near the top. You will then be asked for your library card info.
Get a Card....
A library card is free to Butler County residents with proper identification. Your card is permanent and is renewed each year. It entitles you to borrow materials from any of the 10 libraries within the Butler County Federated Library System.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. A parent or legal guardian’s signature is required for anyone under 18 years of age.
Proper identification is a driver’s license with current address OR two other forms of identification with current address, such as a recent utility bill, Pennsylvania identification card, or a bank statement.
Lost or destroyed cards may be replaced at a cost of $2.50.
You must present your card to check out materials.
We accept many types of donations: books, music, audiobooks, DVDs. We also are pleased to accept monetary donations.
Visit each library's Memorials Page below for a donation form. Complete the form and mail, with your check to the address on the form.
