- Registration is online. May register online at home or at the Mars Area Public Library. .
- Ages: Infant through Teens.
- Must have a Butler County Library Card (in good standing).
- Groups:
- Read to Me (infants-1st grade, Children that can not read independently).
- Kids (1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders).
- Tweens (4th, 5th, 6th graders)
- Teens (7th through 12th grade

Monday – 10:30 am: June 3 through July 22
Tuesday – 1:00 pm: June 4 through July 23
Friday – 10:30 am: June 7 through July 26
For infants to 3 years old: STORY TOTS
Wednesday – 10:30 am: June 5 – July 24
Summer Writing Contest 2013 – “A Book That Shaped Me” – Rising 5th and 6th graders encouraged to reflect on a book that has made a personal impact on their lives. Top winners are honored at the Library of Congress National Book Festival in September on the National Mall. Details will be available at the library soon.
After School Book Club, Grades 3 & 4 – please note meeting time & day change for Summer only – Third Wednesday of the month at 11:30 am (June 19, July 19, August 21) June Selection: Summer Reading is Killing Me! by Jon Scieszka.
Lego Club – Future builders welcome! June 6 & July 11
Summer Theater Club – New for the Summer! All Broadway bound are welcome! Tuesdays at 2:30 from June 4 through July 30 — more details to follow!
Book / No Cook – New for the Summer! Future chefs one and all, come hone your (no) cooking skills with us on Wednesdays June 12, 26, July 10 & 24 at noon!
Craft Days- All Wednesdays-12:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Material provided. Held in the Mars Bank Community Room at the Library. Tweens and Teens.
Teen Movie Night- Thursday evenings 5 pm – 7 pm June 20, 27, July 18 & 25.
So You Want to Be A …. – Hear from speakers from a variety of fields (Medicine, Aviation, Computer Science and more) discussing what it’s like to work in their profession. July and August.
