The ACCESS
PENNSYLVANIA Database is a world wide web-based
bibliographic union catalog and resource sharing guide to
Pennsylvania library collections. The holdings of over 2,700
school, public, academic, and special libraries are
searchable using a customized version of Innovative
Interface's INN-Reach Search Software. Librarians, library
patrons, business and home users may search the Database by
title, author, author/title, subject, keywords, location, or
a combination of any of these fields.
The opening
screen provides access to the holdings of ACCESS
PENNSYLVANIA Database member libraries through a county
and regional map of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Clicking on a county name or region on the map will take you
to a screen where you may elect to search either all
libraries in that county or region or limit your search by
either school, public, special or academic libraries. For
your convenience, there is a link along the top of the map
that allows you to search all ACCESS PENNSYLVANIA
Database member libraries, regardless of type or location.
An alphabetized list of Pennsylvania counties appears below
the map. See below under KEYWORDS for instructions on
searching the holdings of a specific library.
After
deciding on a geographic region and type of library, you may
choose the type of search you wish to perform from among the
following:
