Volunteering

Youth Advisory Board

We are excited to announce the formation of a Youth Advisory Board for Young Adult Programming.  So far we have 5 members that have been meeting monthly!!  They are working on some exciting projects for the future.  If you have any suggestions or ideas for them please let us know.

Becoming a Jr. Volunteer

Volunteers are always welcome.  Junior volunteers begin at age 14.  Volunteers help shelve, cut and staple papers, help with the Summer Reading/Read to Me program.  It is required to volunteer for at least one hour per visit.  Volunteers are welcome in the evenings and on weekends.  The Youth Services Librarian will interview you and give you a simple test on your organizing ability.
